Objectives

For children to be able to grow up with good health and peace of mind, it is vitally important that due attention is paid to children’s health not only in the home, but also in schools (which are both a place where children learn and a place where they live), and that the measures implemented are appropriate to the changing times. The Japan Society of School Health is an organization that was established with the goal of fostering the development of school health. The Society carries out a wide range of school health related activities, including conducting surveys and research on issues connected with children’s health, publicizing the information obtained through such research, proposing responses to new challenges, etc.
